Sandy, Utah—August 5, 2022—Challenger School will debut its newest Utah campus with an open house from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Located at 10607 South 700 East in Sandy, Utah, the campus includes 30 preschool–eighth-grade student classrooms, a computer lab, and a science lab, as well as a large multi-purpose auditorium. Outside, students will enjoy a large synthetic turf field and track, as well as three playground areas (one for preschool and kindergarten students, and two for elementary and middle school students). The student capacity of the 52,000 square foot campus is 810 students.
Additional benefit of the new campus is that parents will enjoy increased parking capacity and much easier student drop-off and pick-up.
“Our current campus served us well but was close to needing a complete overhaul. And, we built it in stages over the years. So, while it worked, the facility wasn’t optimal. This new campus is a purpose-built facility, designed to allow us to provide the best education for our students. We are really pleased to have been able to complete its construction in time to open before school begins this month,” said Hugh Gourgeon, CEO.
Challenger School is an independent, private school with campuses in California, Idaho, Nevada, Texas, and Utah and is headquartered in Sandy, Utah.
